With the final split of the ever successful two wheeler maker, Hero Honda, it is a matter of concern if the Honda individually would flourish in the Indian market all the more or would decline with its sales. As enquired Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Japanese company is experiencing good response from Indian customers till now with its efficient and quality models. Honda sells Honda CB Twister, Honda Activa, Honda Stunner CBF, Honda Unicorn, Honda CB Dazzler, etc.
The Munjals group of India and Honda from Japan were in partnership with each other from past 26 years but due to some differences among the two a dissolvement was planned which took a final route on Thursday 16Th December. The company has been successful enough with its most efficient models like Hero Honda Splendor, Hero Honda Passion and many more. Honda with this departing sells 26 percent of its stake that accounts a market value of $2 billion to the Hero group with a discount of around 30 to 50%. The exact detailing is yet not disclosed by the company regarding payments as enquired, it is against the company's rules.
Honda's current concern is to expand its Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India with increasing the sales ratio and the capacity of production. At present, it is the fourth largest acquiring a share of 14% with scooters and is the largest with a total share of 45% with its two wheelers.
