Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd has recorded a 12 percent decrease in overall sales of November 2015 as compared to the same month last year. The company sold 3,26,895 units in the month of November this year while the sales of the same month in 2014 was 3,71,764 units. So if we go by the numbers, the manufacturer sold 44,869 lesser units. The above figure includes domestic and exports sales of motorcycles as well as of scooters.
2,08,014 units of scooters were sold in November this year as compared to 2,16,952 units in November 2014 and 1,04,490 units of motorcycles were sold in last month this year as against 1,36,786 units in the corresponding month in 2014. So, the fall in the number of unit sales has led to a small dip of 12 percent in the overall sale percentage of Honda for the month of November, this year.

The Honda plant was shut down for three days for maintenance and this might be the reason for such sales drop.
Because if we have a look at comparative sales figures for the year 2015 we can see that the company has sold more than three million of vehicles in just eight months which in itself is a great achievement for them. Along with this, the sales for this automaker crossed 2.2 lac units mark on Dhanteras.
Besides this, to improve their sales figures, HMSI has introduced the CB Shine SP recently and is geared up to launch the last product of the year CB Hornet 160 on 10th December.
