Honda two-wheeler sales grew 23 percent in July 2010

Japan based two-wheeler manufacturer, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), has reported 22.68 percent growth in two-wheeler sales in the month of July 2010. Total two-wheeler has been sold at 1,38,445 units during last month as against 1,12,855 units in the same month of previous year. The motorcycle sales zoomed 35.02 percent from 45,748 units in July 2009 to 61,769 units in July 2010.

Behind of motorcycle, HMSI registered an growth of 14.26 percent in scooter sales to 76,676 units in the previous month compare with 67,107 units during the same month of 2009. Honda 2Wheeler is planning to launch their new commuter motorcycles range and is also targeting to launch another model of its popular motorcycle Honda Twister soon in India.

Apart from it, The company has already launched a sportier version of Honda Unicorn in the auto market, named as Honda CB Dazzler. Besides, Honda VFR 1200F superbike has also been launched by Honda with the price tag of 17.5 lakh (ex-showroom-Delhi).
