The prototype sports major structural changes similar to the 2023 KTM 125 Duke
Development mules of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 has been spied on recently with new hardware and structural changes. Interestingly, the Swedish-origin bike sports equipment borrowed from its Austrian sibling, the 2023 KTM 125 Duke.
The most significant difference, when compared with the previous models, is that the test mule had new wheels and brakes. These are the same as seen on the 2023 KTM 125 Duke.

Adding to the similarities with the upcoming baby Duke are the revised frame, subframe and swingarm on the Svartpilen 125. While there isn’t much information on the engine, the engine casing is new as well.
Interestingly, the test mule also features touring bits including a large visor, knuckle guards (from the Dukes), and soft panniers. The LED headlight seems to be updated too and is now wider and slightly bigger than before.
While the Svartpilen 125 is unlikely to come to India, the 2023 KTM 125 Duke could debut sometime later next year with an expected price tag of Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
