Honda India is planning to launch a new off-road motorcycle for the Indian market. Though, the company has mainly focused on the commuter bikes for India but now it seems that company could hit this adventurous segment with the NXR 160 Bros based upon Hero Impulse. This new bike is expected to be housed with bigger and powerful engine. Reportedly, the Japanese automaker has recently patented the NXR 160 Bros in the country but there are no signs of launch this year.

This upcoming Honda NXR 160 Bros bike is expected to be equipped with a 162.7cc single cylinder, air cooled engine that churns out 14.5 bhp of peak power at 8,500 rpm and 14.31 Nm amount of maximum torque at 5,500 rpm. The motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. There is also an electronic injection PGM-FI (Programmed Fuel Injection) that delivers a precise amount of fuel to the engine that ensures good fuel economy. The bike also gets front and rear disc brakes along with 180mm of telescopic front suspension and 150.3mm of rear monoshock suspension.
The company is selling NXR 160 Bros in Brazil at INR 1.77 lac, but we hope that Honda would introduce this bike in India at a comparatively lower price.
