KTM 125 Duke, RC 125 Price Hiked

The most expensive 125cc bikes in the country just got dearer!

• The KTM 125 Duke has received a price hike of Rs 2,148.
• Fully faired RC 125 now costs Rs 1,437 more than before.
• Expect the prices to go up further once new emission norms kick in.

The KTM 125 Duke and RC 125 have received a price hike of Rs 2,148 and Rs 1,437, respectively. The entry-level naked now costs Rs 1,32,400 while the fully faired motorcycle now commands a price of Rs 1,48,700 (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi).

This is not the first time that KTM India has hiked the price of its entry-level motorcycle. If you recall, the 125 Duke was launched at Rs 1.18 lakh, but within a matter of months, the manufacturer increased the price by Rs 7,000 and then Rs 5,000 and Rs 300. The RC 125, on the other hand, has seen the first price hike since its launch. But we suspect that the fully faired motorcycle will get even more expensive in the coming months. As of now, there’s no word from the KTM regarding the price increment. As the new emission norms are all set to kick in from next year, expect the manufacturer to further increase the price of both the motorcycles by around 10-15 per cent.
