The first lot of KTM PowerParts are scheduled to be launched by the first week of February
- The first lot includes parts like a GPS bracket, fork slider, handlebar pad, and headlight protector.
- KTM is also working on made-in-India luggage systems for the 390 Adventure.
- These add-ons should make the motorcycle a lot more practical.
KTM will be launching the first lot of PowerParts for the 390 Adventure pretty soon, presumably before the second week of February. The list includes a GPS bracket, a fork slider, handlebar pad, and a headlight protector.
The GPS bracket is designed to be compatible with various navigational devices like Garmin and TomTom, and it will also be suitable for KTM’s iBracket (phone holder). For added practicality, the handlebar pad comes with a transparent card holder and a small pocket to hold kick-knacks. KTM has made the transparent headlight protector from the same type of polycarbonate, which is in fact used in KTM’s latest rally bikes. It is claimed to not splinter and will not affect the headlamp’s focus either.
Since these are official PowerParts, they should theoretically command a premium over third party accessories. However, we will have to wait and see until they are launched. More parts will be added after the first lot comes in. KTM is also working on made-in-India luggage systems for the 390 Adventure, details of which can be found here.
