Harley Davidson India, cruiser motorcycle manufacturer has introduced an online test ride facility in India. The company has recently started its motorcycles booking two days back. The company also declared five dealers in New Delhi, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Hyderabad and Mumbai. The twelve models from the company's range can now be booked online through five of the company's assigned dealers and New Delhi based dealers will first initiate the online test ride facility in India. Harley Davidson has been an excellent response on Day one of the booking, as people have been eagerly waiting for years for these legendary bikes," said Mr. Sanjay Tripathi, the company's Marketing Director India. According to news reports, the commercial production of these bikes would complete in April 2010 and delivery of the bikes will take few months. The company's buoyant economy, coupled with a quickly developing road system, that will help out the company to increase its future sales. The American manufacturer recently reported better than expected profits, with India is going to be one of the the company's most promising market. As per Harley Davidson India, earlier the company sold 1,000 large capacity machines (800cc+) in 2009. The all models price would raise considerably when Harley-Davidson starts production in India. The company has already signed an agreement with the ICICI Bank to provide a high-end capacity two-wheeler loan facility for Indian customers. Meanwhile, Yamaha Motor intends to launch its two new premium bikes - Yamaha SZ and Yamaha YZF R125 by 2010-end.
