Mahindra Two-wheeler sales report of Feb

Mahindra Two Wheeler, the new entrant in the Indian two-wheeler market is also doing well with sales of its vehicles. The company registered 30 per cent growth with the sales of 12,682 units in the month of February this year as against 9,726 units in the same month of previous year.

 

The company recorded cumulative sales growth of 162 per cent in the period of April 2010 to February 2011 with the total sales of 1,51,164 units as against 57,711 units in the same period of 2009-10.

 

Mahindra Two-wheeler is selling scooters and motorcycles in the Indian market and its only one bike named as Mahindra Stallio is not doing well against scooters. It's Mahindra Duro, Mahindra Rodeo and Mahindra Flyte are getting good response from the market. The company sold out almost 5135 units of the bike in the market till the end of year 2010.

 

Now the company is targeting Indian rural and township areas with its products; its both the scooters are doing well and compete with Honda Activa and Suzuki Access.

 

Mahindra Two-Wheeler wants to get a good position in the Indian two-wheeler market. The company is organising MotoGP race in the year of 2012. Ant it's participating bike has also been tested at the Italian track. But before this event, the company is to launch a 300cc bike Mahindra Mojo against Kawasaki Ninja, upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 250cc and announced Honda CBR 250R.
