A mysterious electric scooter has been spied testing in Bangalore and it gets some interesting bits which sets the scooter apart in the vast ocean of electric scooters. 

What do we understand?

The spied image reveals a ton of details of the mysterious electric scooter. The first thing you notice is the LED tail light and indicators along with the long spacious seat which can accommodate two large sized adults comfortably. The scooter has a traditional moped-inspired design which is evident from what looks like 14-inch alloy wheels on both ends and the small floorboard. The scooter lacks underseat storage which is common in mopeds. 

In terms of underpinnings, the scooter gets a mid-mounted electric motor, chain drive, conventional telescopic fork and twin-shock absorbers at the rear. It gets drum brakes at both ends and a large rear sprocket which will provide a better low end performance. It means the scooter will be targeted towards city commuters and business owners who wish to transport goods in the city. 

In terms of features, the scooter gets an LCD instrument cluster and a USB charging port along with a cubby hole on the front apron.The battery and motor specs are still unknown.

Expected Price and Launch Date 

The mysterious electric scooter can be a commercial scooter but it is too hard to tell as the scooter looks like it is in the testing and development stage. It’s difficult to comment on pricing just yet as it’s too early to make such a prediction. Pricing will also depend a lot on the battery capacity and other features it would come with. But if we had to make a wild guess, we think it might be priced between Rs 1.0 lakh and Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
