Iconic motorcycle brand Royal Enfield has launched the all-new Bullet 500 in a new Forest Green colour. The bike was teased earlier on the Royal Enfield's official site, and RE fans were so excited about the bike. Along with the new colour there is also a big change in the bike, Royal Enfield has dropped the fuel injection for this bike in a bid to make it more cost efficient. The new Bullet 500 uses a carburetter instead of the fuel injection, which results in a significant drop in its power and torque figures. The 499cc engine now develops the maximum power output of 26bhp at 5,100 rpm and the peak torque is now 40.9 Nm at 3,800 rpm, however these peak figures come in 150 rpm and 200 rpm earlier compared to the fuel injected Bullet 500.
The new Royal Enfield Bullet 500 has been bestowed with the classic winged badge on the fuel tank, which makes it look stunning. The RE Classic like twin pilot lamp also enhances the classy appeal of the new Bullet 500. The saddle has been taken straight from the existing Bullet, but it comes with a small back rest for pillion. Moreover, the overall appeal and looks of the bike have been designed to give it a typical RE bike like looks. Most of the features have been shared with Classic 500 and Bullet 350. The use of the carburettor will help Royal Enfield to keep the prices in check, and we are expecting it to cost lesser than the Classic 500. However, prices haven't been announced yet, we are expecting them to be announced soon.
