New Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC launched

The UK based and world's major two-wheeler manufacturer has recently added two bikes in its portfolio namely Triumph Tiger 800 and Triumph 800XC. Triumph Tiger 800 is the street bike which has been priced at 7149 Ponds and its off-road variant Triumph Tiger 800XC has price tag of 7749 Ponds.ABS versions for the bikes are also available with extra price.

Triumph Tiger 800 is street fighter and adventure bike while Triumph Tiger 800XC is off-road version which is perfect for adventure. Both bikes have been loaded with In-line three cylinder, four-stroke, liquid cooled engine and displacement is 799cc. This powerful engine of the bike generates peak power of 59 ps at 9300 RPM and belts out top torque of 79Nm at 7850 RPM. Both the bikes are available with electric and kick start option. Transmission system of the bike is 6-speed.

To give the rock image for the bikes, the front tyre size is kept 90/90-ZR21 and rear tyre size is 150/70-ZR17 while braking system is also solid. The 308 mm double disc brake at front wheels and 255 mm single disc brake has been fitted at rear wheel. Both the bikes are having rider friendly dimension that ensure good comfort and balance on them.

Triumph Motors has entered in Indian market and its all the bikes are most awaited. Its Triumph Speed Triple, Triumph Daytona 675R, Triumph Thunderbird Storm, Triumph America and Triumph Speedmaster also in pipeline. The Triumph Rocket III, Touring bike which is powered by 2300 engine ready to create big hype in Indian market very soon.
