New TVS Scooty (Zest) Spotted

The upcoming version of the TVS Scooty (expected to be called Zest) has been spotted testing in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Scooty is the most popular scooterette among female riders in India. The scooter was fully covered, however, still you can see the exhaust muffler and some other parts nearby it. These parts are resembling the TVS' latest scooter Jupiter, which confirms that is is a TVS scooter.

By considering the upper profile of the test mule, the new scooter is expected to come with several cosmetic changes. The scooter will come in an all black theme, as we can see black steel wheels, telescopic front forks and the regular spring damp rear suspensions are also entangled in black color.

The technology of the 2014 Scooty will be shared with Jupiter, which comes with a 110cc CVT-i engine. This advance power mill generates a pickup of 0-60 m in just 7.2 seconds and its CVT-i technology delivers the best-in-class combination of 7.88bhp power & fuel economy of 62kmpl. The new scooter might also share the features of the Jupiter like econometer, external fuel fill, accessible kick start and others.

The scooter is expected to be launched at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in February.
