After a subdued February, this month is going to be eventful with several new launches. Here’s the list
February was rather lukewarm when it came to new two-wheeler launches in India. However, this month is expected to be pretty hot and happening, with several new products in different segments in the pipeline. Here are the upcoming bikes and scooters to be launched in India this month:
Royal Enfield Scram 411:
The Royal Enfield Scram 411 has been spotted several times of late, and the Chennai-based manufacturer finally revealed the launch timeline in its teaser. It will be a more affordable take on the Royal Enfield Himalayan, designed to tackle urban roads and trails with equal ease. From pricing to features, you can read all about the bike here.
2022 KTM RC390:
The 2022 KTM RC 390 is all set to be launched this month. The 2022 iteration is a more well-rounded update to the venerable RC390, with several improvements in the design, features as well as handling department. Here’s everything you need to know about this sporty faired bike.
2022 KTM 390 Adventure:
The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure has already reached dealerships, so expect the bikemaker to launch the ADV in the coming weeks. It comes with a few cosmetic updates and one major change in the underpinnings department.
Hero Vida Electric Scooter:
Hero MotoCorp had already revealed in November 2021 that it plans to launch the Hero electric scooter this month. It could be a part of Hero’s new subsidiary dedicated to EVs. Check out our full analysis of the Hero Electric Scooter.
Hero XPulse 200 4V Rally:
For representation
Hero MotoCorp also has something exciting in the ICE space, as the manufacturer is likely to launch the Rally variant of the Hero XPulse 200 4V this month. It will have all the off-road-ready equipment in the Rally Kit, including adjustable long-travel suspension, handlebar risers, bench seat, lengthened gear shifter pedal, and knobby tyres, fitted as standard. Expect it to be priced at around Rs 1.6 lakh (ex-showroom). In comparison, the regular XPulse 200 4V retails at Rs 1,30,150 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Yamaha MT-15 Update:
For representation
In January 2022, Yamaha sold just 17 units of its 155cc naked, the Yamaha MT-15, leading to speculations about the launch of the next-gen model. The 2022 Yamaha MT-15, which could be launched this month, could feature a dual-channel ABS, Bluetooth connectivity, and an inverted fork up front. Apart from these, Yamaha could also make slight design changes for refreshing looks. With these changes, the new Yamaha MT-15 should be a much more well-rounded offering than before.

Suzuki Burgman Electric:
The Suzuki Burgman Electric has already been spied several times in a production-ready avatar, so we expect the Japanese bikemaker to launch the electric scooter this month. It will be Suzuki’s first modern electric scooter, and may rival the Ola S1, Ather 450 Plus, TVS iQube Electric and the Bajaj Chetak Electric. From the design and underpinnings to the expected range and features, here’s a full breakdown of the e-scooter.
Triumph Tiger Sport 660:
Triumph had already revealed earlier that the Tiger Sport 660 will be launched in the first quarter of this year, so expect it to happen this month. This will be the British bikemaker’s smallest and the most affordable ADV. Just like its rival, the Kawasaki Versys 650, this one too is more of a road-biased tourer than a ‘proper’ adventure bike (like, say, the Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT). It could be priced at around Rs 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Okinawa Okhi90:
Okinawa had recently announced that it will be launching the Okhi90 on March 24. This will likely be the EV maker's flagship scooter, complete with 14-inch wheels, sleek and sporty looks, a mid-mounted motor, and all-LED lighting. The electric scooter could be priced at around Rs 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom), and here's everything you need to know.
