Ola Electric has announced that it will set up more than 100 Hyperchargers across 50 cities by Diwali this year. This comes as a huge development considering that the EV maker had only one fast-charging station installed last year, after showing the country its ambitious plans of having 1 lakh chargers in 400 cities.
During its ‘Mission Electric 2022’ press conference, Ola Electric also announced that it would continue to expand its Hypercharger network to more cities. If and when Ola introduces its fast-charging network, it would be the second EV maker to do so after Ather Energy’s Ather Grid. To jog your memory, the Hypercharger is claimed to charge your S1/S1 Pro for 75km in just 18 minutes.

Ola Electric also intends to introduce the MoveOS 3.0 around the same time. With the new OTA update, the e-scooter would get features like hill hold, proximity unlock, moods, regen v2, hypercharging, calling and key sharing. If Ola delivers on all the promises and manages to improve the quality of the product, the S1 Pro would feel like a complete package.
