Ola S1 and S1 Pro Warranty Can Now Be Extended Upto Five Years

Both old and new Ola customers can secure their e-scooters better with this plan

A big part of vehicle ownership is warranty, especially when it comes to electric scooters. Hence, in order to help better your Ola S1 and S1 Pro ownership experience, the company will now offer an optional five-year extended warranty program, available for both new and old owners.

Ola electric scooters, both the S1 and S1 Pro, currently offer a three-year warranty or 40,000km (whichever is sooner), while the battery comes with an unlimited mileage warranty for three years. However, the new plan will cover your “battery, motor, electronic components and all other standard parts,” said Bhavish Aggarwal during the 2022 Mission Electric video conference.

While the price for the program is still undisclosed, this should help new and potential customers feel more reassured about their purchase, especially given the recent EV fires involving a few Ola scooters among others.
