Bhavish Aggarwal, Ola Electric’s CEO, has revealed in his recent tweet that the MoveOS 2.0 software update will be released in April end. He also highlighted the key features, which include navigation, companion app, cruise control, bluetooth, performance enhancements among others.
When we’d ridden the Ola S1 Pro, it did have navigation, albeit operable via the e-scooter’s instrument cluster. However, now with the upcoming companion app, navigation should be a lot more seamless. Cruise control and bluetooth connectivity should also make the e-scooter more versatile than before.

The deliveries of the Ola S1 range of electric scooters commenced in December 2021. The company had earlier stated that several features, including the app connectivity, cruise control, Hill Hold, and Voice Assistant, will be offered during the time of delivery via Over The Air (OTA) updates. However, that was not the case, but better late than never. The company recently announced the next purchase window for the electric scooter, and in parallel, has introduced a new colour in celebration of the Holi festival.
