Piaggio Vespa SXL and VXL Launching Tomorrow

As we reported earlier, Piaggio has scheduled a launch for two new Vespa scooters in India on 1st September, i.e., tomorrow. Christened as Vespa SXL and VXL, the two variants have been spotted a day prior to the launch and are going to be launched by the auspicious hands of Alessandro Del Piero, a famous football player and company’s global brand ambassador.

Vespa SXL and VXL variants look more intriguing as compared to their standard models- VX and S but share the same 125cc single-cylinder, 3-valve engine that offers 10bhp of power and 10.6Nm of torque. With digital instrument console and bigger tyres, Vespa SXL will be available in Metallic Blue color. On the other hand, VXL sports an all new instrument cluster, stylish alloy wheels and enticing Metallic Grey Color.

Price of the upcoming variants are expected to be around Rs. 5,000 more than their standard models, which will include front disc brake, aircraft derived single arm front suspension with Anti-Dive characteristics and rear suspension with Dual effect Hydraulic shock absorber.
