Revolt Motors has announced that its electric bikes are sold out (both Delhi and Pune markets) for the month of September and October and that bookings for these two months have stopped. However, bookings for November - December batch are open now. The bikes are available only in Delhi and Pune at present, and more cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Chennai will be added soon. We reached out to Revolt for the exact numbers, but the brand is still collating the data of the bookings for now. Pre-bookings for the RV400 commenced in June this year and in July, the brand announced that it received about 2500 pre-bookings for its electric bike. The Indian startup has a plant in Manesar, Haryana with a production capacity of 1.2 lakh units per year.

One of the reasons for the positive response could be its unique pricing plan, which doesn’t sting your pocket at least in the short term. Revolt offers a total of three bikes with three different price plans. The RV300 is available at Rs 2,999 per month, whereas the base RV400 is available for Rs 3,499 per month. On the other hand, the RV400 costs Rs 3,999 per month. All the plans are for 37 months.
