Revolt Motors is all set to launch the country’s first electric motorcycle, the RV 400, tomorrow. The Indian startup had unveiled the motorcycle back in June this year. Revolt has already opened pre-orders for the bike in Delhi and Pune for a token amount of Rs 1000. Alternatively, you could book the bike for the same amount via our website. The brand will enter the Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Chennai markets in the next two months. Apart from the price and specifications, Revolt will also be revealing the charges for battery swapping and other features. The bike will be offered in two colours: black and red.

Expect the electric bike to cost around Rs 90,000 (on-road). The only competent rival this electric bike has at the moment is the Ather 450. As far as range is concerned, the RV 400 comes with an ARAI-certified range of 156km.
The first motorcycle has already rolled out of its plant in Manesar, Haryana, which has an annual production capacity of 1.2 lakh units. Key features include swappable battery technology, and 4G-enabled services which can be accessed via a smartphone app connected to the bike. Another novel feature are the artificial bike sounds which can be changed via the app. If you’re keen on knowing all the nitty-gritties of the motorcycle that have been revealed so far, check out our first look review. We’ve already ridden the electric bike, but it is embargoed until the launch tomorrow. So stay tuned for updates!
