Here’s a detailed explanation of Revolt’s ‘My Revolt Plan’ pricing scheme for its most affordable electric bike!
It was a pleasant surprise for us enthusiasts when Revolt launched a more affordable variant along with the RV400. Called the RV300, this motorcycle comes with an even more tempting ‘My Revolt Plan’ and here are the nitty-gritties of the scheme:
How much does it cost to own?
The Revolt RV 300 comes with a price plan of Rs 2,999 per month for 37 months. Interestingly, this is unlike any other lease plan as the bike is under your name right from day one. So, at the end of the tenure, you’ll simply stop paying and can keep the bike.
What does it include?
Apart from the bike, Revolt offers quite a few value-laden features packaged in the plan. For starters, you can enjoy unlimited battery swaps until December 31, 2019. The charges post that will be announced later. Revolt also offers unlimited maintenance for three years and this includes free brake pad and brake fluids replacement thrice. Since it’s an electric motorcycle, the number of complex moving parts are inherently low and in most of the cases, a regular service will only include tightening of the bolts and lubricating parts. The price plan also includes one-year own damage insurance plus third party insurance for five years apart from a five-year product warranty.
What’s not included?
Since the RV 300 is a more affordable variant, the price plan does not include the one-time tyre replacement in three years which the RV 400 gets. It also does not get the option of extending the insurance (1 + 2 Years Own Damage). Other fancy features like remote key, immobiliser, push start and artificial engine sounds have also been done away with.
Since a number of functionalities of the motorcycle are dependent on app-connectivity, there’s a mandatory charge of Rs 5000 which you’ll have to pay once and the 4G connectivity will be valid for three years.

Overall, even though Revolt skipped on fancier features, the core functionality of the bike has remained untouched. At the end of three years, the cumulative price you’d have paid would be Rs 1.15 lakh. Though that’s a big amount, it stings your pockets a lot less as the expenses are broken up month-wise.
