Special Edition Mahindra Gusto VX Launched in India; Priced at Rs. 49,350

Less than a month after introducing two-tone paint schemes with its latest scooter, Gusto 125, Mahindra Two-wheelers has launched a special edition version of its smaller sibling, Gusto 110, and priced it at Rs. 49,350 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This special edition model is only available in VX trim and gets Ice Cool Red and Silvern Magenta colour options, while the scooter remains mechanically unchanged.
These new colours, aimed at attracting a younger audience, will spice up the model which was so far only available in 5 single-colour options. Powering the scooter is a 109.6cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, M-TEC engine that develops a maximum power of 8bhp at 7500 rpm and 9Nm of torque at 5500 rpm while mated to Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). It has been fitted with 6 liters capacity of a fuel tank and also features front kick and electric for starting system.
The Gusto 110 comes equipped with halogen headlamp with LED pilot lamps. It has an adjustable seat of 770 mm in height, wheelbase of 1275 mm and ground clearance of 165mm. The special edition scooter rides on 90/90 tubeless tyres at both the front and the rear ends that are encircled over 12-inch wheels.
The suspension department comprises telescopic with air spring forks at the front and coil type hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. For braking, it comes loaded with 130mm mechanical drum brake at the both ends.
Meanwhile, the company is all set to launched Gusto 125 in the country next month and it is expected that it will be priced Rs. 5,000 - 7,000 more than the Gusto 110. Recently, Mahindra had also launched Mojo Tribe, a club for Mojo owners, at the 2016 Auto Expo.
