The new blue and silver livery could debut in the India-spec Gixxer SF BS6 and Gixxer SF250 BS6 MotoGP editions
Suzuki has revealed its 2020 MotoGP livery on its international-spec GSX-R150 and GSX-R125. These motorcycles get graphics similar to Suzuki’s factory bikes in the 2020 MotoGP season. We expect the new liveries to debut in the MotoGP editions of the India-spec Gixxer 150 BS6 and Gixxer 250 BS6.
While the previous MotoGP replica Gixxers had a predominantly blue paint scheme, the new one features a two-tone blue and silver finish. Even the blue is a new lighter metallic shade and covers the fuel tank as well as the top and bottom portions of the fairing. The middle section and the tail portion of the fairing now features a metallic silver finish. The Suzuki name is imprinted in large blue letters across the fairing and below it lies the Ecstar name in a dark Navy Blue shade. The rest of the underpinnings, wheels and exhaust feature a satin black finish.
Currently, the India-spec Suzuki Gixxer SF BS6 and Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP BS6 are available in the 2019 race liveries. The Gixxer SF MotoGP livery commands a premium of Ra 1,000 over other Gixxer SF BS6 colour options while the Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP costs Rs 801 more than the standard Gixxer SF 250. We expect both motorcycles to be launched with the new 2020 MotoGP liveries later this year. The other motorcycle that was available until recently with a MotoGP livery was the BS4 Yamaha R15 V3. It was discontinued post the BS6 update. We expect Yamaha to launch the R15 V3 BS6 with its MotoGP livery soon.
