The Japanese auto major, Suzuki has revealed pictures and specifications of the 2014 V Strom 1000 sport tourer model. The 2014 Suzuki V Strom looks like a whole new machine, and received many cosmetic and technical updations. Almost all the body panels and instruments including fuel tank, fairing, cowls, wind-shield, head-lamp, tail-lamp, blinkers, instrument cluster, rider and saddle handle, exhaust tail pipe, seat, wheels, etc. have been changed. The new dimensions of the bike are 2,285mm X 865mm X 1,410mm. Wheelbase has been increased to 1,555mm, while the ground clearance remains at 165mm. Overall look of the 2014 V Strom 1000 resembles to a 'Hawk'.
A 1037cc, liquid cooled, DOHC, 90 degree V-twin replaced the older 998cc mill. The new engine offers low rpm torque, which makes is a perfect touring machine. This is not all, the new bike offers ABS assisted braking system for safety braking.
