Suzuki Sold 33,287 Two-Wheelers In May 2015

Maintaining its continuous growth, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) registered a total sale of 33,287 units for May, 2015. With this number, the company witnessed a rise of 3.64 percent in comparison to the sales of 32,117 units in May, 2014. With some amazing new products like the Gixxer and the Let’s, SMIPL has made its position even more soothing in the Indian two-wheeler market.
Commenting on the sales growth, Mr. Atul Gupta, Executive Vice President, SMIPL, said “Suzuki continues to experience positive growth in sales, even as the Indian economy struggles onto a recovery path. We have witnessed an upward growth trajectory since the launch of the Suzuki Gixxer and are confident that Suzuki will continue to experience this growth in the months to come.”
Suzuki recently launched its fully faired 150cc motorcycle, Gixxer SF which received a huge appreciation from Indian buyers. It is the most affordable fully-faired motorcycle in the country that comes powered by a 154.9cc, four-stroke, air-cooled engine producing 14.6bhp of power and 14Nm of torque. The company has also launched it in a MotoGP special edition theme making it more appealing and eye-catchy.
