The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is gradually turning out to be the most browsed motorcycle over the Internet. Just a few hours after sharing the image of the bike in full profile, we came across some more interesting pictures that reveal the bike without any camouflage. Not only this, the colour options have also leaked and the bike would be arriving in six attractive shades. Besides, some more specs numbers have been revealed that totally contradict to the ones that were leaked earlier.

As per the latest specifications, the new Apache will come powered by a 197.75cc, single-cylinder, air-cum-oil cooled engine that will come mated to a five-speed transmission. The motor will generate a maximum power of 20.23bhp at 8,500rpm along with a peak torque of 18.1Nm at 7,500rpm. The recently leaked set of specifications now indicate that the bike might not be the best-in-class in terms of power or quicker than 200 Duke and the similar buzz that had been created few days back might turn out to be fake. The teaser image shows that the bike will sprint from 0 to 60kmph in 3.9 seconds and will achieve a top speed of 130kmph. With this, the new RTR flaunts itself with the tagline “Engineered by the Stopwatch.”

The flagship TVS looks hugely inspired from 2014 Auto Expo showcased Draken Concept and the similar fuel tank can be seen with stylish air scoops in the teaser image. Like the existing RTRs, this one also has “TVS Racing” written on the side panels. The exhaust unit looks the same as seen in the previously shared spy shots and comes across as a bit outdated and boring. Other impressive features include a fully digital instrument cluster, LED DRLs, sharp and aggressive body design, LED tail lamps and optional dual-channel ABS.

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V will be available in six colours namely Matte Black, Yellow, White, Silver, Red and Glossy Black. The bike is expected to come at a price of over Rs. 85,000 and we will have to wait three more days to see if it is worthy enough to change the game in its segment. Stay tuned to BikeDekho to get the first impressions of the bike on the launch date!
