TVS Apache Hits 1 Million Sales Mark; Teases New Apache

Chennai Based two and three wheeler manufacturer, TVS Motors' flagship bike TVS Apache has crossed one million mark toady. TVS Apache is the most successful bike of the company, it was launched in 2006 with a new Race-To-Response engine. Currently, it is being exported to more than 20 countries. On this occasion, TVS also released a new teaser, which revealed a new Apache RTR, which hints that the company is planning to launch an updated Apache shortly.
The teaser doesn't feature the new RTR, however two of the teaser images read “The beast seeks a new skin” and “The day of the dark knight”. While, one of the teaser image shows a RTR in dark, while one other image shows the new grab rails. And the last one shows the axed body panels of the exisiting Apache.
"This is an important milestone for the Apache brand. Constant upgrades with new and innovative features, styling and refreshing graphics has helped us to achieve this milestone. To mark this occasion, TVS Apache will come with a unique one million badge", TVS Motor Company, President and CEO, K N Radhakrishnan said.
TVS Motor Company sells three different models under the Apache range, the Apache RTR 180 cc with anti-lock braking system, Apache RTR 180 cc and 160 cc engine capacities, the release added.
