It has been a long time since TVS did something new with TVS Apache. It came up with the launch of the ABS edition. This utility of the bike was not much highlighted as everyone wants to check out the friendliness of the bike with the race track. So this ABS edition was not much cherished by the people. Now the company has released TVS Apache RTR 180 Racing DNA edition in India, without fan fare.
The exterior of the bikes are very much similar with the FZ series. These DNA series accessories are compatible with all the TVS Apache RTR's after the air scoop edition. This new DNA edition is equipped with Projection Lamps, new Sprockets, Pirelli Sport Demon Tyres, Remote lockers, Handle bar grips with LED lams and LED bling-bling all over the bike.
The newly designed projection lamp gives a wonderful look to the bike. The new Xenon lamp on the front of the bike makes it look much more stylish. Bajaj also tried to have Xenon lamp on the Baja Pulsar 220s but were not able to because of some unforeseen reasons. The Pirelli sport demon 90 section tires give a impressive look to the bike and also seems to favour Indian roads. The silencer also provides a good look to the bike with the K&N air filters in it.
At all this we can say TVS had done a great job with this new TVS Apache RTR 180 DNA edition.
Noted that the ABS (Anti-lock Breaking System) feature in the bikes helps the biker to reduce the braking distance on both dry and slippery surfaces. This ABS feature in the bikes improves the vehicle control. The ABS feature in the bikes would be surely understood by the Indian bikers with time and would tell that weather they are willing to pay for it or not.
