Sibling rivalry! Here’s how the two Jupiters are different from each other.
The newly-launched TVS Jupiter 110 gets a full fat list of features that make it quite comparable to, if not better than, the Jupiter 125. Here’s how these scooters differentiate from each other:
Price
The most important differentiating factor is the price, which is an important buying condition for many Indian customers. Here’s a pricing breakdown of both the scooters:

TVS Jupiter 125 |

In terms of pricing, it purely depends on whether you want more features or more performance from your scooters, as we explain further.
Styling
Both the scooters get their own distinctive styling. The TVS Jupiter 110 now looks quite futuristic with its LED bar at the front and the back. The TVS Jupiter 125, in comparison, looks rather blingy with the chrome accents on the body. Both the scooters have a wide range of colour options. However, the 125 gets a pillion backrest in the top-variant, which is a pretty cool addition.
Engine
The engine is yet another big differentiating factor for these scooters. Here’s the engine performance breakdown:
Specifications |
TVS Jupiter 110 |
TVS Jupiter 125 |
Engine |
113.3 cc with hybrid assist |
124.8 cc |
Power |
8.02PS |
8.15PS |
Torque |
9.8Nm (hybrid assist) |
10.2Nm |
9.2Nm (no assist) |
Both the scooters get start-stop tech, however, the Jupiter 110 now gets TVS’ new iGo hybrid assist which can marginally boost torque when the system is charged. That said, thanks to its larger engine, the Jupiter 125 is more powerful and offers higher performance than the Jupiter 110.
Features
The TVS Jupiter 110 gets LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation and phone alerts, emergency brake lights (to alert motorists behind of riders’ emergency braking), fuel-filler nozzle on the front apron, 33-litre under seat which is storage big enough for two helmets, hazard lights, and ‘Follow Me’ headlight (which stays on for a few seconds after the scooter is switched off to illuminate the walking path ahead of the scooter).
The TVS Jupiter 125’s feature-list includes a twin-pod digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation with voice assist, phone alerts and social media notifications, similar, 33-litre underseat storage as the 110, and front filler nozzle for the 5.1-litre fuel tank (same as the 110).
Underpinnings
Both the scooters have the same underpinnings: conventional fork and preload adjustable rear shocks, 220mm front disc/130mm front drum (depending on the variant) and 130mm rear drum brake, and 12-inch wheels with 90-section tyres.
Which Is Better
This would primarily depend on what you want from your scooter - mileage or performance. The Jupiter 125 would be quicker than the 110. The latter with its smaller engine and hybrid tech would have a better mileage. The Jupiter 110 makes a strong case for itself with its extensive feature list. Then there’s the matter of styling; one might look better to you than the other. But rest assured, both are fantastic scooters, and you won’t go wrong in choosing either. It’s just a matter of which one suits your needs better.
