The Dark Edition will likely come with a solid black paint scheme with minimal grey highlights in some areas, much like the TVS Apache RTR 160 and 160 4V Dark Editions
Quick News Highlights:
- The Dark Edition will continue with the same 124.8cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine.
- Expected to be launched in the next few days.
- Likely to be priced at the same price as the disc variant at around Rs 89,841 (ex-showroom).
TVS Motor Company has teased the upcoming NTorq 125 Dark Edition on its social media handles. The upcoming Dark Edition of the scooter is likely to get a black base colour scheme with grey highlights in some areas, to complement the overall look.
With a total of 12 colour options, the TVS Ntorq 125 comes in a range of funky colours including Matte Red, Metallic Blue, Metallic Grey and Metallic Red colours for the base drum and disc variants. The Race Edition comes in Race Edition Red and Race Edition Marine Blue shades. The Super Squad Edition gets four colour options: Amazing Red, Lightning Gray, Combat Blue, and Stealth Black. The most powerful Race XP variant is offered in a ‘Race Red Black’ colour and the most feature-loaded, flagship Race XT variant comes in a Neon colour scheme. However, The Dark Edition will appeal to those who find the current colours too loud and prefer a simpler look.
Apart from the colour updates the NTorq 125 Dark Edition will likely be the same mechanically and hardware-wise. The scooter will continue to be powered by the 124.8cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 9.38PS and 10.6Nm on all the variants except the NTorq 125 Race XP, which has slightly higher output figures of 10.2PS and 10.9Nm. However, we think that the NTorq 125 Dark Edition will be available in the standard disc variant and will have the same output figures as well.

TVS NTorq 125 Dark Edition is expected to launch soon, probably this week or the next one. It is likely to be available as an additional colour of the disc variant and is expected to be priced on par with the disc variant too at Rs 89,841 (ex-showroom).
The TVS Ntorq 125 competes with other sporty scooters including the Honda Dio 125, Suzuki Avenis, Yamaha RayZR 125 and Aprilia SR 125. Recently, TVS also launched the Apache RTR 160 and Apache RTR 160 4V Dark Editions. You can read about it here.
