We believe it could be the CB300X, based on the CB300F
Honda has teased a brand new bike on its social media pages and our money is on an adventure bike called the CB300X. Interestingly, we had earlier reported that Honda was set to launch a CB300F-based ADV, you can check that out here.
In the teaser, the bike flaunts a sharp LED headlight, similar to the CB300F suggesting an ADV based on this streetfighter. Adding to that, the CB300X could flaunt a design language similar to the Honda CB200X, a rugged and muscular ADV sporting a half fairing with a beak-like front.

That said, we hope that it isn’t just a mere slap-on job, like the Honda CB200X, and is a more functional ADV with more suspension travel, larger ground clearance and a bigger front wheel.
It is likely to be powered by the same 293cc, air-oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 24.47PS and 25.6Nm. The engine is a pretty easy-to-ride one and quite tractable, making it a pretty decent fit for adventure touring.
Oh, and we also hope that it is sensibly priced, not like how outrageously high the CB200X was priced at its initial launch. Expect Honda to launch the bike in the coming months with a significant premium over the CB300F’s Rs 2,25,900 ex-showroom Delhi price tag. It will go up against the likes of the Suzuki V-Strom SX and KTM 250 Adventure.
