From commuters to big bikes, here’s what’s in store for this month
[UPDATE: Royal Enfield has launched the Hunter 350. Full details in our launch story]
The past month was full of exciting launches ranging from commuters and EVs to premium bikes. The upcoming month has something exciting for us right off the bat, and here’s all that will be launching.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350
Expected Price: Rs 1.7 lakh (ex-showroom)
After a whole lot of anticipation created by spy shots and more, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is finally about to debut in August. The upcoming roadster is going to be the most compact of the RE lot and you can check out its specifications here. The Hunter 350 was also spied at a dealer yard without camouflage and here’s all that we know about the bike.
Honda 350cc Bike
Expected Price: Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom)
Honda sent us a ‘Block Your Date’ invite earlier last month for an August 8 launch. While we don’t know what the product is, we speculated that it could be the Forza 350 max-style scooter, however, that is unlikely at the given time. Even the Honda CRF300L was spotted in India, but sadly, this dual-purpose bike is not what’s going to be launched this month.
We believe that the upcoming bike could be something based on the CB350 platform, between the 350 to 500cc engine displacement. Interestingly, Honda recently filed a trademark for the ‘CB350 Brigade’ name. Head here for more details on the same.
Updated Bajaj Pulsar 150
Expected Price: Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom)
Bajaj is likely to launch the iconic Pulsar 150 in a modern avatar, based on the newly launched Pulsar N160’s platform. It could get similar hardware and motor downsized from the N160’s mill. A production-ready test mule of the 2022 Pulsar 150 was spied in June, and here is our analysis and estimate on the bike’s pricing.
Hero XPulse 200T 4V
Expected Price: Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom)
The facelifted version of the Hero XPulse 200T 4V was recently spied for the very first time, shooting a commercial. The road-going version of the XPulse 200 4V is likely to launch this month and command a slight premium over its predecessor. Head here for our complete analysis of the bike.
TVS iQube ST
For August, TVS could announce the prices of the top-of-the-line ST variant of the TVS iQube Electric. It was unveiled alongside the standard and S variants of the e-scooter in May 2022. Head here for more details on the ST variant of the scooter.
Zontes and Moto Morini
Chinese bikemaker Zontes is all set to make its India debut by launching as many as five different motorcycles, and that could happen this month.
On the other hand, Italian bikemaker Moto Morini, too, has announced the launch of four different motorcycles in India. Head here for all the details on these bikes.
