The last week of 2021 brought some interesting announcements with it
Twenty Twenty-Two is upon us. But before we leave the last year in the dust, here’s a quick look back at the top five two-wheeler news stories from the final week of 2021:
Yezdi India Launch Date Announced
Classic Legends is planning to start 2022 with a bang, particularly by resurrecting the Yezdi brand on January 13, 2022.

Jawa Cruiser Spotted Again
Along with the Yezdis, Classic Legends is also working on a new Jawa cruiser bike. The bike was recently spotted testing for the third time this year, still wrapped in camouflage. Compared to the existing Jawas, the new cruiser will feature revised ergonomics and a unique design. It is likely to be Jawa’s answer to the Royal Enfield Meteor 350.

Suzuki Burgman Street & Access 125 Get New Colours
To round off the year in style, Suzuki introduced new colours for its highest-selling scooters, Burgman Street and the Access 125.
The Suzuki Access 125 gets three new colours: Metallic Dark Greenish Blue, Metallic Matte Black, and Glossy Grey. The first two are offered in the standard variant, while the latter is exclusive to the Bluetooth-equipped variant. Meanwhile, the Burgman Street only gets the Glossy Grey colour for both variants.
New BGauss Electric Scooters Incoming
Coming to electrics, Indian EV manufacturer BGauss has stated its plans to launch two new electric scooters early next year. Both are claimed to be high-speed offerings meant to rival the Hero Electric Photon and Okinawa Praise Pro. Ola Electric Hypercharger Network: Now A Reality
Soon after commencing deliveries of the S1 and S1 Pro, Ola Electric has now started setting up its Hypercharger Network across the country. To begin with, these Hyperchargers are being installed at Bharat Petroleum pumps and residential complexes, and Ola plans to set up over 4000 of these by the end of 2022.
