The Ninja ZX-4R makes nearly double the power of the Ninja 400
Kawasaki India has put up a teaser on social media and we’re very excited for it! The silhouette in the teaser is unmistakably that of a Ninja and in the background is the melodic inline-four soundtrack. Identifying the specific Ninja model solely from this silhouette can be quite a challenge, given the lineup's similar styling. However, our sources have confirmed that it's the Ninja ZX-4R, a 399cc inline-four bike unveiled earlier this year.
This motorcycle boasts an impressive engine, producing a whopping 77PS (or 80PS with the ram air intake) and that too at 14,500rpm. Even the 39Nm is made at 13,000rpm. But the powertrain is just one part of the equation. The ZX-4R is equipped with high-quality hardware, including a Showa separate function inverted fork, a vertically mounted preload-adjustable monoshock, dual front discs, and a reasonable 189kg kerb weight. It also offers a range of features such as power modes, smartphone connectivity, traction control, a quickshifter, and a slip-and-assist clutch, among many others.

2023 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Is Now Greener In More Ways Than One
Yes, we know you want to hear how much it would cost. You see, Kawasaki's lower-capacity motorcycles have always been quite expensive, and the ZX-4R will be no exception. Expect a price in the range of Rs 8-9 lakh (ex-showroom), given what this screamer of a bike packs.
