The iconic Yezdi brand will be revived tomorrow by Mahindra-owned Classic Legends
[UPDATE: Yezdi has launched three new bikes in India, including the Roadster, Adventure and the Scrambler. Full details in our launch story]
Yezdi is all set to be resurrected tomorrow by Mahindra-owned Classic Legends. Kicking off its new innings, Yezdi will be launching not one but two motorcycles, the Yezdi Adventure and the Yezdi Roadking Scrambler.
Expect the former to be priced at around Rs 2 lakh and the latter Rs 1.7-1.8 lakh (both ex-showroom). The Yezdi Adventure will go up against the Royal Enfield Himalayan and KTM 250 Adventure, while the Yezdi Roadking Scrambler will rival the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and Honda CB350RS.
The Yezdi Adventure looks a lot like the Royal Enfield Himalayan, but with modern elements such as all-LED lighting, digital instrument cluster, and more importantly, a liquid-cooled engine borrowed from the Jawa Perak. In the bobber, the motor produces 30PS and 32Nm, but expect it to be tuned differently to suit the ADV's character. On the other hand, the Jawa Roadking Scrambler could borrow its powertrain from the Jawa and the Jawa 42, which make 27.33PS and 27.02Nm. Expect this motor to be tweaked too.

Both the ADV and the scrambler get a long-travel front fork, with the former getting a monoshock and the latter a pair of gas-charged shock absorbers. Both bikes get spoke wheels with block pattern tyres. To know more about the Yezdi Adventure, check this out. And as for the Yezdi Roadking Scrambler, head here.
