Parent company Piaggio has announced a host of online offers and initiatives
Piaggio’s brands, Aprilia and Vespa, have announced that customers will now be able to buy their scooters from the comfort of their homes. Vespa and Aprilia are not the only two-wheeler manufacturers that have taken the online route to sell its two-wheelers. Suzuki recently took the initiative of not only selling two-wheelers but even servicing them at customers’ homes. It was then followed by Hero MotoCorp.
The latest move by Piaggio lets you book any Vespa or Aprilia scooter online for Rs 1,000 and avail a number of finance schemes and benefits as well. Once the process is complete, you can even get your scooter delivered to your doorstep. In a related development, the launch of Aprilia’s flagship scooter in India, the SXR160 has been delayed.
