There were reports that Honda is going to launch 2013 Honda CBR250R and now these reports get some ground as Honda has unveiled the first official images of 2013 Honda CBR250R. As we all know, this bike is a scaled-down version of the bigger CBR siblings, but it retains the sporty attitude and eye-pleasing looks. The bike is already available in India with its 150cc counterpart, Honda CBR150R.

The 2013 version of the bike is carryover except four new exciting colour schemes including red, black, Honda tricolor and the eye-candy Repsol tones. The 2013 CBR250R will also be available in two versions, one standard and one equipped with ABS with a single-cylinder engine packs a 249.4cc displacement and is a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 4-valve unit, boasting all the new technological advances one might expect to meet in the big bikes.

The 38mm throttle body will be equipped to fuel the engine by Honda's patented PGM-FI system and the 2013 Honda CBR250R engine can attain an impressive 10.7:1 compression. The rear suspension is backed by a Pro-Link single shock with no less than 5 preload settings for various types of roads and bike load.

The 2013 Honda CBR250R weighs just 162 kg, which is similar as the existing model. The bike will soon be available and we are expecting it in India as well. The new colour schemes and ABS certainly give advantage to it on its closest competitor Kawasaki Ninja 250R. With this model we are also expecting the 2013 Honda CBR150R and 2013 Honda CBR150R Streetfire in India.
