2016 Suzuki Access 125 Launched at Rs. 53,887

Suzuki has launched the updated version of its popular 125cc scooter - Access in India today at Rs. 53,887 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The vehicle was unveiled at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo and it looked completely different from its existing version. Major updates include chrome headlight casing, revamped body design and completely new instrument console.
Powering the scooter is a 125cc, four-stroke, air-cooled engine that comes mated to a CVT transmission. The motor generates a maximum power of 8.6bhp at 7,500rpm with a peak torque of 10.2Nm at 5,000rpm. For better comfort and good ride quality, the scooter has been equipped with telescopic forks up front along with twin shock absorbers at the rear. As for braking, the company has offered an optional front disc brake while the drum brakes on both ends are standard.
The new Access comes with some of the best-in-class features such as the longest seat and the largest under seat storage compartment. Other features include tubeless tyres, maintenance free battery, optional DC socket and shutter key locking system. The new Access 125 will be available in following five colours across the dealerships - Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue, Candy Sonoma Red, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray and Glass Sparkle Black, and will take on the likes of the Honda Activa 125.
