The Bonneville lineup will receive cosmetic and mechanical upgrades
When it comes to modern-classic motorcycles, Triumph offers a wide range of models under the Bonneville family, catering to almost every kind of rider. And now, Triumph has scheduled the launch of the updated Bonneville range on February 23, 2021.
Going by the teaser video, the 2021 Bonneville range will include the Street Twin, T100, T120, Bobber, and the Speedmaster. Other than the cleaner engine, the updated bikes could get a new instrument cluster and fresh colour schemes at a slightly higher asking price. The 1200cc range could also get cruise control as standard. Sadly, the Thruxton and the Scrambler range have been left out for now but might be announced late this year.
Triumph India currently offers only four bikes in its modern-classic portfolio: Street Twin, T100, T120, and the Speedmaster. The lack of demand could be a factor in the brand not offering its entire lineup here.
However, Triumph launched the most affordable Tiger yesterday. This was the second launch by Triumph India in a span of two months, the first being the 2021 Speed Triple 1200 RS.
