2022 Honda Dunk Scooter Unveiled, Claims 75kmpl Fuel Efficiency

This youthful scooter, while being small on engine size, is big on frugality

Honda has updated the Dunk scooter for 2022. The bikemaker's commuter scooter is mainly meant for cruising at city speeds while being light on the pocket.

The Honda Dunk's design is eye-catching -- its big halogen headlight is flanked by bulb indicators. But above it, the handlebar has been left exposed, which we, frankly, don't find very appealing.

Complementing the design are a decent set of features, including a digi-analogue console, a USB charging port, a multifunction key hole, and a front disc brake. The scooter rides on alloy wheels sprung on a telescopic fork and a single rear shock.

And at the heart of it all lies a puny 50cc single-cylinder motor making 4.5PS and 4.1Nm. The highlight of the engine is the claimed fuel efficiency: 75kmpl.

The Honda Dunk tips the scales at just 81kg, which, coupled with the low 730mm seat height, should make it easy to ride for anybody.

In Japan, the Honda Dunk is priced at an equivalent of Rs 1.47 lakh, approx. We believe this is a steep asking price for a 50cc scooter, but that isn't something to worry about as this is a Japan-only offering.
