We have received a ‘Block Your Date’ invite from Honda BigWing for a new launch on 8th August. Based on the invite received, Honda BigWing looks to be gearing up for the launch of the Forza 350 maxi-scooter.
The Indian market has always been a popular destination for scooters and this market is now seeing the entry of premium maxi-scooters such as the BMW C 400 GT and the Keeway Vieste 300. Well, Honda also looks set to join the party by launching the Forza 350 in India.
The Forza 350 is available abroad in two variants - Standard and Roadsync. Honda's Roadsync technology enables access to smart features like the Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS). The HSVCS allows a rider to answer calls and messages, use navigation and also listen to music on the go through voice control.
This maxi-scooter is powered by a 329.6cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 29.2PS and 31.5Nm. It is underpinned by a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers and features disc brakes at both ends.
It gets 15-inch front and 14-inch rear alloy wheels wrapped in chunky 120-section and 140-section tubeless tyres, respectively, and also comes with the safety net of a traction control system and dual-channel ABS as standard on both variants.
The Forza 350 features a smart twin-pod analogue instrument console with a digital inset positioned in the centre. It gets function keys on the left switchgear to allow the rider to toggle through various functions on the display, like average fuel consumption, odometer, tripmeters and even maintenance alerts.
Other updates include an emergency stop signal (ESS) along with its all-LED lighting system that rapidly blinks when the rider brakes hard. It also gets an electrically adjustable windscreen that offers up to 180mm of adjustability. It also gets a USB charging socket in the glove box on the apron. As for the under-seat storage space, it can accommodate up to two full-face helmets.
