Breaking: New Triumph Street Triple 765 R & RS Launched At Attractive Prices

Months after the first ride, both models debut in India with attractive price tags

Months after the first ride and a few more spent waiting for the official launch of the 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 R and RS in India, the bikes have finally made their debut. And honestly, the wait has been worth it thanks to lucrative pricing Triumph has managed to nail. The new Street Triple R now costs Rs 10,17,000, meanwhile, the Street Triple RS costs Rs 11,81,000 (ex-showroom India). In the case of the 765 RS, the price hike is just Rs 50,000, which is great considering what’s on offer.

For 2023, the new Street Triples 765 features minor design changes like a tweaked bodywork and a sportier looking headlight cowl. Even the rake angle has been sharpened which too accentuates the bike’s aggressive styling.   

That said, what makes both these motorcycles a lot more exciting than before is the performance package on offer. The 765cc, inline 3-cylinder motor now makes 120PS and 80Nm in the Street Triple R and a staggering 130PS and 80Nm in the Street Triple RS. While the R makes 2PS more, the RS makes 7PS and 1Nm more than before. In addition to the increase in power, there’s a whole bunch of new and revised electronic aids too.   

So, the new Triumph Street Triple 765 R and RS are clearly offering a lot more than before. But what’s most interesting is that, the price difference between the 765 R and RS is now roughly just Rs 1 lakh, which makes the Street Triple 765 RS the model to go for, no?
