Ducati India Discontinues 899 Panigale, Soon to Bring 959 Panigale

Recently, Ducati India withdrew the 899 Panigale from its official website and it is not available for sale anymore in the country. The 899 Panigale was already discontinued from the global market. It will soon be replaced by Ducati’s new 959 Panigale in the Indian market, which was showcased at the 2015 EICMA. Ducati 959 Panigale is a more improved and modern version of the 899 Panigale.

Ducati has several new updates fit for 2016 in its new 959 Panigale model. Along with this, the model also comes with an aerodynamic package which makes it an efficient machine. The bike is now Euro4 compliant and is configured with an updated electronics package to give the rider a safer experience.

The broader look of the bike makes it more stunning and stylish. The 959 Panigale also features a dual exhaust port feature which makes it more enhanced than its predecessor. It is powered by a 955cc, L-twin Superquadro liquid-cooled engine, which produces 157 bhp and 107 Nm of peak torque output. In addition to this, Ducati 959 Panigale has three different riding modes - Wet, Sport, and Race.

Till now, Ducati India has not initiated booking procedure for 959 Panigale. It is expected to arrive in India by mid-2016.
