Ducati has launched the new Multistrada V4 RS in India, priced at Rs 38,40,600, making it Rs 6.92 lakh more expensive than the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, which costs Rs 31.48 lakh (both prices ex-showroom Delhi).

Ducati Multistrada V4 RS: What’s New?

The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS features a special Iceberg White colour scheme, which is inspired by the Ducati MotoGP bike livery. It also features an ‘RS’ decal on side panels, making it stand out from other Multistrada variants.

The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS is powered by a 1103cc, liquid-cooled, V4 Desmosedici engine inspired by the Desmosedici Stradale engine from the Ducati MotoGP bike. The V4 Desmosedici engine on the V4 RS churns out a whopping 180PS at 12,250rpm and 118Nm at 9,500rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox with Panigale’s multi-plate dry clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter as standard.

This top-of-the-line Multistrada comes equipped with a 6.5-inch TFT instrument console. It also has smartphone connectivity and map-driven navigation. The rider aids on the bike include riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, a radar system, blind spot detection and cruise control.

The Multistrada V4 RS gets a fully adjustable 48mm inverted fork and a fully adjustable monoshock, both from Ohlins. Braking is managed by Brembo brakes on both ends. It features 330mm semi-floating dual front discs with radially mounted monobloc 4-piston callipers and a 265mm rear disc with a 2-piston floating calliper. The Italian ADV rides on 17-inch Marchesini forged wheels at both ends, wrapped with 120-section front and 190-section rear Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tubeless tyres

Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Rival

The BMW M 1000 XR is the closest rival to the new Ducati Multistrada V4 RS in India, but costs Rs 6.6 lakh more, at Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom).
