Ducati launches Scrambler Classic and Full throttle in India

Ducati has launched two more variants of Scrambler series in India- Classic and Full Throttle. At an event held in Gurgaon, the bikes were introduced and the official announcement of the company's comeback was made. Now we have three Scramblers in the country, including Icon and the price of the range starts at Rs. 6.78 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
All the Scrambler Ducati models are based on similar platform and uses the same 803cc, air-cooled, L-Twin engine, which also powers the popular Monster 795 and 796. The mill makes a maximum power of 75hp at 8,250rpm and a peak torque of 68Nm at 5,750rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission using an APTC wet multiplate clutch arrangemet for smooth gear transitions.
The Duacti Scrambler runs on 18" front and 17" rear, light weight, 10-spoke alloys, which comes covered with 110/80 section and 180/55 section Pirelli MT 60 RS tyres respectively. Its Suspension set-up combines of 41mm inverted front forks and pre-load adjustable Kayaba single shock at the rear. The front wheel comes equipped with a 330mm dics brake, while the rear gets a 245mm unit. For safety purpose, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) comes as a standard equipment.
Other standard features of the Scrambler Icon model are Steel tank with interchangeable aluminium side panels, headlight with glass lens, LED light-guide and interchangeable aluminium cover, LED rear light with diffusion-light, LCD instruments with interchangeable aluminium cover, machine-finished aluminium belt covers and under-seat storage compartment with USB socket.
Unique features of the Scrambler Classic are Spoked aluminium wheels, front and rear aluminium mudguards, vintage design seat, fuel tank with black stripe, high plate support and dedicated logo.
Top of the line- Scrambler Full Throttle features some highly premium equipments, which are Termignoni slip-on silencer, low aluminium handlebars, flat-track inspired seat, sport tail piece with dedicate turn indicator support, sports style front mudguard, black fuel tank side covers and dedicated logo.
Apart from these three models, another one- Scrambler Urban Enduro has not been launched in India right now.
