Ather is all set to launch the updated 450X Gen3 today and it is expected to pack more ammunition to take on its key rivals, namely the Ola S1 Pro and TVS iQube ST. 

With TVS launching three variants of the iQube electric with promising range and Ola announcing the launch timeline of its MoveOS 3.0 for the S1 Pro, Ather will hope that the new updates featuring on the 450X Gen3 suffice to keep its rivals in check.

Based on a leaked type-approval document, we expect the updated scooter to get a larger battery pack along with a whole range of updates that you can check out here. Bookings are already underway on Ather’s website and interestingly, the company has readded the White colour option which was seen on the first-generation model of the e-scooter.

The current Ather 450X is priced at Rs 1,38,006 (ex-showroom Delhi, inclusive of FAME II and State subsidies), and prices for the 450X Gen3 might be Rs 5,000-6,000 more. Also, if you have booked the current Ather 450X but want the newer one, then there is good news for you.
