Hero MotoCorp has issued a silent recall for the XPulse 200 in India owing to a faulty ABS system. As of now, the number of units affected is unknown. However, Hero has said its dealerships will get in touch with customers and have the issue rectified.

According to the brand, the problem lies with the bike’s ABS system where the front brake lever tends to jam itself. Fortunately, the company has identified the problem and has come up with a solution. Hero will equip the affected bikes with a new ABS system and a revised ECU that have been tested thoroughly in both on- and off-road conditions. According to Hero, the fix has also improved overall braking performance.

That said, customers can choose to stay with the original system if they haven’t faced any trouble so far.
