Honda ADV 150 Custom Scooter Showcased

Called the Urban Street Concept, the adventure scooter is loaded to the gills with accessories!

Honda has unveiled a custom ADV 150, called the ADV 150 Urban Street Concept, at this year’s Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS 2019). The concept comes with a number of performance as well as aesthetic upgrades to differentiate it from the already radical-looking production version. Honda unveiled the stock scooter at the same show and it has been priced at Rp. 36.5 million (around Rs 1.8 lakh) for the ABS variant and Rp. 33.5 million (approximately Rs 1.65 lakh) for the CBS version.

The ADV 150 Urban Street Concept comes with a bold-looking yellow and black livery with a smoked windshield. For a sportier demeanour, the stock body panels on the sides have been replaced with panels with carbon fibre finish. Even the front and the rear fender as well as the radiator guard get the carbon treatment. It also gets custom handlebar that are fatter and offer better rigidity than the stock ones. This is complemented by knuckle guards and bar-end mirrors.

The scooter gets a custom upholstery made of synthetic leather, a pillion cowl and a tail tidy kit for an added dose of sportiness. Performance upgrades include an aftermarket master cylinder for the brakes, HEL brake lines and a Prospeed Spider Series performance exhaust. The alloy wheels are shod with road-biased FDR Zevo tyres on both ends. These tyres measure 120-section up front and 140-section at the rear as opposed to 110-section and 130-section (front and rear) in the stock scooter.
