Even if your Honda vehicle is up to nine years old, you're eligible for the extended warranty
Honda has introduced a brand new Extended Warranty Plus (EW+) program to its new and existing two-wheeler customers. With this program, customers can avail up to 10 years of extended warranty between 91 days and 9th year of purchase of a Honda two-wheeler, which is a pretty flexible window.
Adding to that warranty convenience, Honda is also offering multiple warranty policies that ensure old customers get this extended benefit. The policies are stated below:
3-year policy for vehicles in the 7th year.
2-year policy for vehicles in the 8th year.
1-year policy for vehicles in the 9th year.
What these basically mean is that customers with a vehicle that is, for instance, less than 7 years of age, can extend its warranty for three years and so on. Also, the coverage via this program is up to 1,20,000 kilometers for all scooter models and up to 1,30,000 kilometers for all motorcycle models. The renewal options remain transferable in case of change in the ownership.

The latest extended warranty program is applicable for two-wheelers up to 250cc. If you wish to avail this program, visit the nearest Honda service centre. The EW+ costs Rs 1,317 for models up to 150cc and Rs 1,667 for models between 150cc to 250cc, although prices vary based on purchase year of the vehicle. This initiative will go a long way in ensuring peace of mind when it comes to long-term ownership of Honda bikes and scooters.
In other news, Honda recently announced a comprehensive seven-year extended warranty on Shine 100, in addition to three years of standard warranty.
