Honda CBR 150R Launched at the Auto Expo 2012

Besides launch and unveiling of various new vehicles in Indian two and four wheeler market, the 11th Auto Expo 2012 is also evident of face to face competition between earlier alliance companies now competing against each other. After termination of the joint venture between Hero Motors of India and Honda Motors of Japan, both these companies are unveiling their new vehicles in expo 2012. After successful launch of Honda CBR 250R in Indian bike market few months back, Honda today marked its entrance in Auto expo by meeting its promise of launching its younger sibling Honda CBR150R during Auto Expo.
The new Honda CBR 150R has been launched to compete with Yamaha R15 bike in Indian bike market. Besides launch of Honda CBR 150R, Honda is expected to unveil few more variants of Honda Bikes during Expo 2012. The worth mentioning features adorned in Honda CBR 150R include, Honda’s 4 stroke 150cc engine that chalks out power of 18 BHP at 15,000 rpm. Apart from these features, other features highlighted in CBR 150R include front and rear disc brakes, mono-suspension, Double layered full cowling, Short Muffler and PGM-Fi and O2 sensor increases overall performance.
It is expected that Honda CBR 150R will be launched in Indian two wheeler market during middle of 2012 and will be priced below 1.2 lakhs. The new CBR 150R is the second bike in CBR series of bike from Honda after successful launch of Honda CBR 250R in sports segment of bike in India. With stylish and impressive looks, these bikes are very elegant. Instrumentation of Honda CBR bikes carry fuel gauge, tachometer, tripmeter, speedometer followed by regular side indicators. The eldest sibling of CBR bikes, Honda CBR250R is loaded with liquid cooled 4 stroke, DOHC, 4 valve, single cylinder, 250cc engine. It is enriched with fuel injection (PGM-FI) technology which makes it fuel efficient bike in its segment.
